Here is a model that I did in about 5 or 6 hours. It's the dragon Pokemon Charizard! He has been one of my favorites since I was little. Mostly the model is done by memory except for the wings. It was all modeled in Maya and the scales texture is from CGtextures.com Both planar and cylindrical mapping were used for the orange scales texture.
